Manual Traffic Exchanges
The next most effective type of traffic comes from manual traffic exchanges , I stress manual, because auto traffic exchanges while they will increase your traffic significantly, will not actually deliver any live visitors to your site, only computer generated hits.

There are many very good traffic exchanges, and I will review as many as I can for you.

The way a traffic exchange works is after you have registered, you will click on the surf link, and you will see a site for x number of seconds, this can vary from site to site between approximately 6 seconds to 60 seconds. when the timer counts down to zero you can the click a link for the next site. Each time you click to a new site after the timer reaches 0 you will earn a credit. Depending on the site the value of the credit you earn can also vary between .25 of a display credit and 2 display credits. In most cases Traffic exchanges are free to join, and free members get longer surf times or lower surf ratio’s or a combination of both. It is not unusual for a free member to have to surf 3 sites for 10 seconds each to earn 1 display credit for the site.
While a paid member earns a 1 to 1 ratio, meaning for each site they view their site is displayed once.
For each Exchange you need to decide whether your effort and time as a free member is balanced by the cost of premium membership, with the added benefits.
